Marc Evertse boasts 30 years of experience in the port industry, with a keen focus on project management, business development, and commercial management. He has garnered a reputation for spearheading large-scale port projects worldwide, with a particular emphasis on greenfield ports, emphasizing commercial aspects and business development. Evertse has most recently served as Executive Commercial Manager for SOHAR Port and Freezone in Oman.

Evertse is a graduate of Technische Universiteit Delft, where he earned an MSc in Civil Engineering. He has worked on projects in over 60 countries worldwide. Evertse has worked as Program Manager International Port Projects at Port of Rotterdam, Sr Project Manager at Port of Rotterdam International, and Business Development Manager for the Port of Sohar at Port of Rotterdam. Evertse has also carved a niche for himself as a port consultant, having served as a Senior Port Consultant at Port of Rotterdam, MHR Consultancy.
