As a software engineer, I am responsible for migrating several monolith applications to Spring Boot microservices architecture. This implies re-writing the applications using RESTful APIs and deploting them to PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry). Some of the microservices are connecting to CosmosDB.The APIs are called by internal applications within the bank and they perfrom checks as part of the credit sales process.
