Dan Kheloussi

Dan Kheloussi is an accomplished energy industry analyst and data expert with an educational background in engineering physics and applied economics. With over four years of experience in laboratory research and development, he has since devoted his professional efforts towards electricity market design issues at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, where he supports program management and optimization efforts. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience as an engineer and electricity analyst at Energetics and Ansaldo STS, as well as a research assistant at several prestigious organizations such as Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and the European Organization for Nuclear Research. Not only interested in energy technologies and markets, Kheloussi is also involved in a variety of humanitarian and environmental organizations such as his role as Chapter leader for DataKind DC. With a robust skill set in computer programming and data analysis, including proficiency in SQL, Stata, SAS, Visual Basic, Python, and more, Kheloussi also possesses strong communication skills and the ability to overcome complex multidisciplinary problem solving.
