Brian Meyer is a highly experienced aeronautical engineer and manager with a career that spans over 35 years. Meyer has worked with major aircraft, engine, and propeller manufacturers, specializing in areas such as aerodynamics, performance, design, certification, and program management. He has also completed over 50 aircraft STCs and holds two patents. Additionally, Meyer is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Ohio, and has written numerous technical papers and magazine articles on various aviation topics.

Apart from his extensive engineering experience, Meyer is also an accomplished airplane and glider pilot, with over 4,300 landings to his name. He holds FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certificates, and has over 18,000 hours of experience in aircraft construction, having built and test-flown six airplanes, including three that he designed himself.

Meyer has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, and has also studied Masters Aero Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He currently works as a part-time consultant on personal aircraft projects, having previously held management positions at Hartzell Propeller and McCauley Accessory.
