Roman Zhitov is a highly experienced expert in the field of bitumen materials, with more than 17 years of working experience. He holds a Ph.D. degree in polymer chemistry, which he obtained from Irkutsk State University. He has also shared his expertise as an assistant professor of chemistry at the same institution. Zhitov has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the chemistry and technology of bitumen materials, as well as the methods of obtaining, analyzing, and researching polymer materials. Moreover, the author of five patents and 18 articles, he has also authored a book, Obtaining and properties of polymer-bitumen composites, published by LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing in 2015. Currently, Zhitov occupies the position of Technical Director at Baikal bitumen terminal, where he continues to put his extensive knowledge and skills to use.
