Christopher Brown is a highly accomplished semiconductor and computer industry executive with over 25 years of experience. With a background in engineering, he managed to reach Director level at Intel, where he spent eight years in charge of distribution, among other things, as a member of the senior management team. Brown has also worked at Maxtor, where he was responsible for running a $120M pa pan-European distribution and retail business. As a co-founder of Emosyn, a start-up that was later acquired by SST, he became a member of its senior executive management team. Brown has also held non-executive roles at numerous organizations, including non-executive chairman at Simulity Labs and director roles at RT Circuits and TEEC Ltd. He is known for his specialty in IP Licensing, non-volatile memories, smartcard ICs & embedded technology, major account management, mergers, and acquisitions. Brown is also recognized for his major project management experience of up to $200M. He's a great communicator, a regular contributor to industry discussions, and a keynote speaker at major conferences.
