Marcus Baptista is a talented professional with more than 20 years of experience in the media and digital advertising industry. He has worked for multiple Canadian and global brands at various levels, from ad operations specialist to revenue lead. With a journalism background, Marcus's passion for data has grown, and he has become an expert in analyzing, reporting, and presenting data. He is a proficient English speaker despite being a native Portuguese speaker. He has been disrupting himself to start from scratch in his new career in digital advertising.

Marcus studied several programs, including an Advanced Diploma and various certificate programs from Humber and Ryerson University. He also took courses at Brain Station and Stanford University.

Marcus's professional career began while still in high school when he worked as an electronic technician. Later he worked as a Network Control Operator for CBC Television and the TV Globo. After that, he worked in ad operations specialist and optimization specialist for a few years before moving to programmatic account executive and manager positions. Currently, he is working as a revenue lead at Google, hired through Adecco.
