Report directly to the Vice President, Americas, Global Closure Systems and functionally to the Vice President, Human Resources in Europe.   Provide support and guidance to the businesses on all matters relating to Human Resources. Contribute to the global human resources strategy that underpins the transformation of GCS.   Develop strong relationships with senior managers of the business. Build and develop the evolution of the HR infrastructure. Sloan Valve operates eight manufacturing and distribution centers throughout the United States, Mexico and China.

Report to VP, Human Resources and manage a staff 7 HR professionals and EHS. Provide key HR support to Global Supply Chain, R&D as well as corporate functions (IT, Finance, Sales and Marketing). Lead and ensure the design and delivery of highly effective change management, talent acquisition, environmental health and safety, internal communications, and labor relations strategies globally . Develop strategic relationships with labor organizations at the International and Local level to support change management objectives.  Address grievances and represent company when in arbitration. Create innovative recruiting strategies to recruit high performers into the organization.

Yaskawa Electric America, is a $300 million US operating subsidiary of Yaskawa Electric Corporation of Japan, designs, develops and manufactures precision motion control products including AC Inverter Drives, Servo Controls, and Robotics Automation Systems.

As the Head of Human resources for 4 facilities in multiple states (WI, IL, CA,) that employed over 500 people (Union - Communication Workers of America as well as non union), reported to the VP of Administration. Led a 5-person HR team focused across all HR disciplines.  Played a key role in collective bargaining, grievance management, union contract administration, strategic planning, budgeting, organizational and leadership development, talent acquisition,  and resolving complex employee relations issues.

Yaskawa Electric America

A $500 million, 1,300-employee ITW division and industry-leading manufacturer of cordless and pneumatic tools and consumable fasteners for new home construction and remodeling.  Sales channels inlcuded distribution and consumer packaged goods (CPG) through home centers.Held the top HR role for the business unit.  Managed strategic planning, budgeting, compensation, organizational development, talent acquisition and development, employee relations, diversity programs, and business integration strategies.

Senior Human Resources Manager

I held the top HR role for this manufacturer of automatic entrances for use in commercial construction, with manufacturing, sales and service, and warehousing operations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
I started up the Human Resources department for this 500-person business unit following the Ingersoll-Rand acquisition.  Member of the divisional strategic planning and leadership teams.
