Pinak Dutta has a robust background in prescriptive analytics, revenue optimization, operations research, simulation, machine learning, object-oriented programming, applied statistics, and project management. With vast experience in team-building, he has tackled complex problems involving demand forecasting, inventory placement and assortment, network flow modeling and optimization, multi-echelon inventory optimization, and workforce planning and shift scheduling, among others. His skills include working with Llamasoft SC Guru for supply chain strategy, developing statistical models with Python, SAS, JMP, Minitab, R, and C++, working with databases such as MS SQL Server and HPE Vertica, visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI, and simulation software such as SIMIO, @Risk, Arena, and AnyLogic. Additionally, he is skilled in optimization techniques such as GLPK, AMPL, Pyomo, and Gurobi, as well as supply chain planning tools like SAP, APO, and OMP.

Pinak has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/ Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, and a master's degree in Industrial Engineering (Operations Research and Statistics) from Texas A&M University. He has worked in supply chain modeling and design at SCDO, and held the positions of Manager, Operations Research/Supply Chain Science at Spreetail, Program Manager, Supply Chain Analytics/ Operations Research at Chewy, and Supply Chain Analytics Manager at Eastman Chemical Company. He has also worked as an Operations Research Analyst and a Master Production Scheduler, Retail Window Films at Eastman Chemical Company, and as a Logistics Engineer/ Transport Analyst at ATMI. In addition, he has engineering experience from GE Energy.
