Subrata Kumar is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in marketing, development practice, and social entrepreneurship.

He is the founder of bhalo Social Enterprises, established in 2019, which focuses on empowering businesses and small-scale farmers by providing them with high-quality inputs, tech-based advisory services, and access to credit facilities.

In collaboration with mPower, Subrata's bhalo is working on creating a marketplace for small farmers through a mobile app, a call center, and bhalo retail outlets.

Apart from his entrepreneurial ventures, Subrata also offers support to development organizations in evaluating, designing, and overseeing inclusive market development projects.

He holds a B-Tech degree from the National Institute of Technology Warangal and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration at the University of Dhaka.
