Alessandra Henderson, the Co-Founder & CEO of Elektra Health, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a background in technology and startups. She is passionate about women's health, and her mission is to break the menopause taboo through her innovative healthcare platform. Her focused approach towards evidence-based education, care and community building enables her to empower nearly 50 million women currently navigating menopause in the US. With over four million dollars in funding from top investors such as Alexis Ohanian's 776 Fund and Flare Capital Partners, Alessandra is making waves in the industry. She has also been featured in top publications, including Forbes, Fast Company, TechCrunch, and the New York Times.

Prior to Elektra Health, Alessandra served as the VP of Network at Human Ventures, an NYC-based startup studio focused on creating innovative consumer-facing technology. She also founded the MIT NYC Startup Studio and has been the Executive Director there. In this capacity, she led its intensive mentorship accelerator experience for MIT student entrepreneurs. Additionally, Alessandra worked as a Sales Manager at Chinese Contemporary Gallery, Content Partner Manager and Director at Artsy, and holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Sloan MIT.
