Jay Rao is an experienced legal professional with a background in business law and bankruptcy, having practiced law for several years.

Jay has engaged in research during his time in the Visiting Scholars Program at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, focusing on equitable subordination, tournament theory, and introducing concepts like the Rao Effect and Vedanomics.

Born in Athens, Georgia, raised in Plano, Texas, and with immigrant parents from India, Jay values his affordable education and his Vedic faith rooted in the teachings of Sri Ramanujacharya.
