Having relocated to New Zealand in November 2018, I am delighted to have joined the team at Crombie Lockwood Insurance Brokers. My main focus is managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across numerous industries, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and working with them to provide optimal risk solutions in a timely manner.  I am responsible for high retention of our commercial customers, through actively servicing and maintaining their insurances effectively. Along with my existing portfolio, I will be working with new clients to identify their risk exposure and source bespoke and competitive solutions to satisfy their requirements. I have an extensive background in insurance broking from the UK, where I also helped in the claims management of the largest accounts, giving me a greater knowledge and pro-active approach to risk awareness and mitigation.

I relocated to the Surrey area and Basil Fry & Company was the perfect option for me as I was looking to move in to the Commercial Insurance sector. I was working with the Managing Director and Head Broking Director, dealing with and processing renewals alongside mid-term adjustments and other insurance duties as a Broking Executive. During my time at Basil Fry, I have been given the opportunity to push forward with my CII Insurance exams and have been able to complete my Certificate of Insurance in less than 6 months, with the aim of achieving my Diploma

During my time at Bridle Insurance, I performed a number of different roles from learning the basics of insurance to looking after our existing clientele and dealing with their insurance renewals. I was placed in the new business sales team for the majority of my time there, mainly dealing with high value, prestige and classic car insurance. We also dealt with household, courier, GIT and other lines of personal insurance where I was able to grasp an understanding of the overall insurance market. Before i ended my time at Bridle, I advanced to underwriting classic car insurance under our dedicated scheme.
