Sven Bulterijs
Sven Bulterijs, a biochemistry and biotechnology graduate from Ghent University, has become a notable name in biogerontology, longevity research, and advocacy. He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Yale University in the laboratory of David Spiegel, published multiple peer-reviewed papers, and presented lectures at many conferences worldwide. Bulterijs has also been involved in the organization of several conferences including the Eurosymposium on Healthy Ageing. As a founding member of the Belgian non-profit Heales, he has continually served as its co-president and Chief Scientific Officer. He is also an editor at the Longevity Reporter, an adviser for the Lifeboat Foundation, and an advocate for longevity research and life extension. Bulterijs is interested in various topics such as biogerontology, aging, calorie restriction, Alzheimer's disease, oxidative stress, and non-enzymatic cross-linking.
