Douglas Niemann is an accomplished executive with expertise in enterprise risk management, international business, finance, investment, and banking. Niemann holds an Executive Leadership degree in International Business from IMD, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Risk Management and Insurance and another M.B.A in Finance, Investment and Banking from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Northwestern University.

Niemann is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Athene where he oversees all enterprise risk management functions and provides support for strategic operating decisions. Previously, he served as the Senior Managing Director at Guardian Life, Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase, Managing Director at AIG, Executive Staff at Zurich Insurance, Associate at Robert W. Baird & Co., and Assistant Vice President at Norwest Banks.
