Eric Howard is an experienced and dedicated nonprofit professional with a passion for helping others. With 25 years of experience growing and managing a successful charity, he has honed his skills in program development, evaluation, and strategic planning. Howard founded a ministry from its inception which grew its operational budget to over $2M, 26 staff, and served over 500 homeless youths annually. During his time in this role, Howard created a program that addressed the educational needs of homeless youths to facilitate school attendance and graduation.

Howard's experience includes grant reporting, board development, program development, and analysis, among other skills. As a consultant, he combines his extensive experience in the sector with a deep and abiding passion for helping nonprofit organizations build capacity and achieve their missions. He has successfully connected businesses with solar energy solutions and helped business owners and leaders solve common business problems through Heartland.

Howard studied at Indiana Wesleyan University and Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis. He has worked as the Director of Business Development at Jefferson Electric and formerly held roles such as Relationship Manager at Heartland and Counsel at Loring, Sternberg & Associates. He has also contributed to his community by serving as a part-time Boot Camp Instructor at the Ransburg Y at YMCA of Greater Indianapolis.
