Julia Dalmadi
Julia Dalmadi is a Food Futurist with a strong background in digital and food innovation. With extensive experience in project management and concept development, she is equipped with human-centered design and system thinking. Julia's multidisciplinary and culturally diverse approach and her global network of food protagonists make her an excellent collaborator in building a sustainable future for the food industry. She holds a Master's degree in Food Innovation Program from the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Hotel Management from HotelSchool - The Hague.
Julia's expertise in food innovation led her to found TransFoodMission, a project where she aims to engage, cross-pollinate, and build a sustainable future for the food system. She previously served as Director of Community Programs at Future Food Institute and worked as Innovation & Human-centered design at SuperCoop Berlin. As a Project Manager at Future Food Institute, she focused on Food & Climate Shapers Boot Camps, and as a Future Food Ambassador in the Germany Hub, she supported the development of local food innovation projects. Julia also served as a Concept Developer at Camst Group and a Food Innovation Researcher at Future Food Institute, giving her an excellent background in food research and development.
With a background in Business Administration and Economics, Julia has experience in revenue management and reservations analysis. She previously held positions at SnapShot GmbH, Michelberger Hotel, and airberlin. Additionally, Julia has experience working in the hospitality industry, having worked as a Duty Manager at Hotelschool The Hague, a Receptionist at Best Western York House Hotel, and as a Sommelier Assistant; Manager Assistant at Arany Kaviár Restaurant.
