Nguyen Thanh Son is a prominent entrepreneur and communications expert based in Vietnam. With over 20 businesses founded or co-founded, Son has established himself as a successful investor in various industries, including healthcare, education, and technology. Among his notable ventures are T&A, the largest PR agency in Vietnam which was later acquired by WPP, and Sage, a communications and branding academy. He is also the founder of Forinco, a chain of cancer treatment clinics, Amigo Pharma, a pharmaceutical company, and GPA, an English training company.
Aside from his business ventures, Son has had an impressive career as a trade representative for Oklahoma Department of Commerce in ASEAN countries for almost 16 years. He is a USIS Business Fellow and a Rockefeller Fellow, showcasing his commitment to business development and social change. Additionally, Son is a mentor for Endeavor, a global entrepreneurship movement, and the founder of Global Shapers Hochiminh City Hub, a community of bright young business and political leaders recognized by the World Economic Forum.
Son's academic background includes a master's degree in International Journalism from the Moscow Institute of International Relations. He is also an accomplished literary critic, art and movie columnist, and recipient of numerous leadership awards, including the Asia Leadership Fellow from the Japanese Government and Japan Foundation - becoming the youngest fellow in ALFP's history.
