Gian Aprile is a well-versed and accomplished business leader, entrepreneur, and investor with over 20 years of experience in finance, business development, and venture capital. He has a strong track record of success in various industries worldwide, including entertainment and retail, renewable energy project development, and industrial process outsourcing in emerging markets such as China, India, Turkey, and Eastern Europe.

Currently holding the position of Group CEO at WeArena Entertainment S.p.A., Gian is dedicated to developing and managing large indoor entertainment venues focused on eSport, augmented reality, and edutainment. He founded and led several notable companies such as Flyren Group (with a $300M investment in energy projects) and SSG Sourcing Solutions, which was a leading company in the field of industrial outsourcing in China and India with a team of over 40 professionals in seven locations worldwide.

Gian's passion for driving businesses to success has also led him to participate actively in the Italian start-up community, where he often plays the role of a business angel assisting new ventures and scale-ups in achieving success. He studied Economics at Università degli Studi di Torino and is a former founder and vice-chairman of the non-profit think tank, Osservatorio Asia.
