Christopher Milne
Christopher Milne is a highly skilled and experienced Digital Product Manager with a background in mechanical engineering and design. With a passion for teaching and software, Milne has worked in a variety of industries, including finance, medical devices, government, and toys. Milne's expertise lies in the design thinking process, user-centered design, brainstorming, rapid-prototyping, user-testing, design, and iteration. Milne has advised teams of student designers, demonstrated rapid prototyping to CEOs, built many iOS apps, and brought several to market, built a multitude of embedded electronic devices, and worked on both the initial concepts and design phase of a project, through to iteration and product release, manufacture, and maintenance. Milne has held a variety of senior and digital product manager roles at companies such as Workrise, The RealReal, Macy's, and Capital One. Milne has also worked as a team mentor at New York University ITP, an adjunct professor at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, a startup advisor and instructor at Harvard Innovation Lab, a senior prototype designer at IDEO, a programmer/toy designer at IDEO, a staff engineer at Hansen Medical, and a lead mechanical engineer at Iguana Robotics. Milne has a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, cum laude from Princeton University.
