J.D. Heilprin is a media and entertainment expert with a diverse background in startups, leadership, strategic planning, and podcasting. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Heilprin left his hometown at the age of 17 to attend University of California, Los Angeles, where he majored in English and Political Science. He later went on to earn his Juris Doctorate at University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Heilprin began his career in the entertainment industry working in the mailroom of Creative Artists Agency (CAA). While at CAA, he worked closely with top talent and Coca-Cola's leadership. He later worked as the right-hand to startup CEO Peter Sealey forging into the digital media frontier. He has worked with numerous bands, media companies, and enterprises like HP, MTV, and McDonald's.

Heilprin co-founded RioPort, the pioneering digital music player and service, and the first to have deals with all major record companies. Later, he served on the founding team of Network Live, the JV of AOL, XM, and the Anschutz Entertainment Group. In 2008, Heilprin launched Modern Feed, a platform that organized video programming from across the web, which soon became Clicker.com and was acquired by CBS in 2011 on a 100M+ transaction.

After driving around the country thinking about podcasting, Heilprin founded AGOGO, a listening platform that could organize audio content from different sources like music, news, updates, TV segments, politics, and local info. He later became the Entrepreneur In Residence & Strategic Lead on Podcasting and Audio Programming and Partnerships at Warner Bros. Entertainment.

Heilprin has also served on the Board of Directors of L.A.'s public radio gem, KCRW. Today, he is the founder of Loud Networks, which leverages his significant podcast experience, leading strategic efforts for major brands and entertainment franchises around podcasting and audio, developing market entry strategies, and monetizing content platforms.
