Onvi (previously Wi5) helps small businesses to create beautiful digital menus with no apps or registration for table service, click and collect or delivery.

Dearg's remit was to advise on the pros and cons of the different payment models and provide a recommendation on the model that best suits the ambitions of the roadmap considering the existing technical architecture, active integrations, and regulatory requirements required to execute and maintain the selected model.

Finally, making initial recommendations on the payments landscape holding discussions with vendors while ultimately assisting in discussions/negotiations with PSP's that will support the model.

IDT is a global provider of fintech, cloud communications and traditional communications services. Their BOSS Revolution branded money transfer and international calling services make sending money and speaking with friends and family around the world convenient and reliable.

Dearg joined IDT as a Technical Product Manager for its new money transfer infrastructure team, intending to rewrite existing payer integrations and develop a strategically aligned roadmap to support the globally popular BOSS revolution money transfer service. LBX was a digital wallet app enabling the buying, selling and exchange of cryptocurrencies on the go with access to real-time market data. Customers could instantly convert their cryptocurrency into FIAT and spend it anywhere that takes a debit card.

As BitPesa CTO (now AZA finance), Dearg was responsible for the technical infrastructure and performance of the company’s blockchain payment platform, including maintaining the security and integrity of the codebase while building dispersed cross-functional engineering teams.
