Susannah Tantemsapya is a cultural producer, eco-activist, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles and Bangkok. She earned a degree in Photojournalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she started out as a music editor for SUP MAGAZINE. During that time, she got interested in wilderness preservation, which led her to spend 80 days in the Baja California wilderness through the National Outdoor Leadership School and build a concrete wall for experimental town architect Paolo Soleri at Arcosanti.

In 2005, she founded Creative Migration, a non-profit that produces and collaborates on initiatives aimed at advancing cultural diplomacy through art, public engagement, and sustainability. She has made several films for the non-profit, including POST NEW BILLS: The Story of Green Patriot Posters, and executed a large-scale public art intervention called Projection in Los Angeles by Paris-based artist Vincent Lamouroux, in 2015. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Whitewall Magazine, Canvas Magazine, art ltd., and The WILD Magazine, and she is the producer and host of KCHUNG radio's …the charming mistakes of my youth….

Tantemsapya is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in London, England. Founded in 1754, the RSA is a prestigious society whose members have included the likes of Benjamin Franklin, Charles Dickens, Marie Curie, Karl Marx, Stephen Hawking, and Tim Berners-Lee. She is also a dual citizen of the United States of America and the Kingdom of Thailand.
