I joined the firm in January as part of the launch of the London office. I completed my training contract in the Corporate Department where my work focused on helping start-up and growth stage companies secure funding from third party Angel Investors and Venture Capital Funds.

Legal Secondee Regional Consumer Banking (on secondment from Cooley (UK) LLP)

I commenced my training contract at the firm in August 2013, starting out in the Insurance and Reinsurance Department, focusing on complex reinsurance disputes. Highlights include acting for Swiss Re, Munich Re and Zurich on the dispute with T&N and assisting with a number of advisories to Lloyds market insurers. Following my time in Insurance, I spent six months in the Commercial Litigation Department, gaining experience in high stakes litigation in both the High Court and Arbitration. After a year at the firm, I was seconded to Citi to form part of the EMEA Consumer team, responsible for overseeing the bank's compliance with FATCA across EMEA, and assisting in the negotiation and drafting of a number of EMEA wide agreements relating to both the cards and insurance businesses.
