Tobias Wright

Tobias Wright is a talented and accomplished software engineer with a successful two-decade career in the tech industry. He is currently working at Microsoft as a software engineer in Commercial Software Engineering division, where he helps provide engineering solutions to the company's partners. Tobias combines his technical expertise with emotional intelligence to deliver solutions that are effective and efficient.

Tobias got his education from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and New York University, where he completed his BS with honors in Commercial Art and MA in Management and Technology, respectively. During his time in academic institutions, he had an opportunity to play as Offensive tackle at the NCAA Division 1 football team for his university.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Tobias has had several notable positions in his employment history. He served as a Senior Software Engineer at Condé Nast, where he helped the company design and build its adtech products for some of the renowned brands like New Yorker, Wired, and Vogue. Before that, Tobias held impressive engineering positions at Victoria’s Secret, Media Ocean, and Simply Good Media. In all his roles, he has made notable contributions and developed innovative solutions.

Apart from his work, Tobias is an outspoken advocate for diversity and inclusion in technology. He has previously served as a member of the New York University Alumni Board of Directors and as a Community Education Instructor at Temple University. Tobias has won major hackathons, including the NYTimesOpen Hack Day, AT&T Hackathon, and Techcrunch Disrupt Hackathon.
