J.A. Glaccum is a seasoned attorney with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate finance, securities law, and general corporate matters.

With a background that includes representing acquirers, targets, investment banks, private equity funds, and special committees, J.A. Glaccum has been involved in various significant transactions like public and private acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, Reverse Morris Trust transactions, proxy contests, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other transactional matters.

J.A. Glaccum's expertise also extends to public and private capital market transactions, encompassing debt and equity offerings, private equity investments, fund formations, as well as corporate, securities laws, and governance issues.

Beyond a wide industry representation, J.A. Glaccum has notable experience in the power and utility sector, having represented electric utilities, diversified energy companies, independent power producers, infrastructure funds, and investors in this space.

Educationally, J.A. Glaccum graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center with a J.D. in Law and holds a B.A. in International Studies from the Virginia Military Institute, where he also attended high school at the Tower Hill School.
