Jean-François Chianetta is a talented mechanical engineer turned software developer, entrepreneur, and pioneer in Augmented Reality (AR). He received his education at Saint Stanislas and Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, studying mechanical engineering, and began his career at Perkins Engines as an intern in the Engine Testing Area. Later, Chianetta worked as a C++ Software Engineer at Coventor, where he helped develop the latest microsystem design and simulation tool, MEMS+. Concurrently, he founded and was the CEO of Augment, a successful AR platform available on both iOS and Android, designed to give customers an immersive purchasing experience.

In addition, Chianetta is a co-organizer of AR Paris, an event held every two months in France that aims to build an ecosystem around AR. He frequently speaks on the technical challenges that he has encountered and enjoys the opportunity to continue learning and developing his skillset.
