Willem de Lange is a seasoned consultant with a strong background in computer science. He is currently the Technical Director at Synapticon Inc., where he leads worldwide project development in the fields of Embedded Robotics, Motion Control, and Automation. Prior to this role, de Lange held a position as the VP of Strategic Alliances at SMP Robotics Systems Inc., where he worked with Autonomous Outdoor Security Robots that employed AI and advanced navigation capabilities. He is also a Co-Founder and Chief Robotics Technology Officer at Robotics Assistance Devices, Inc. and the former In Charge of Business Development at Move to AI. With a degree in MSEE in Electronics and Physics and a BSc in Electronics and Business Administration from Universiteit Twente, de Lange is a hands-on professional with experience in high-performance design projects in Germany and the USA. He is also a Lecturer at Universities and a Keynote Speaker and Panelist at International Events on Robotics, AI, and Automation.
