Merry Beekman is an accomplished and experienced information technology and marketing executive. She has a strong background in strategic planning, demand generation, and marketing operations. Over the years, Merry has dedicated herself to creating alignment with sales, partners, and product teams, developing demand through digital and traditional marketing programs. Before joining the private sector, Merry studied at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where she completed her MS degree. She has previously been the Sr. Director Global Planning and Partner Alliances MDF at Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company. In her past roles, she has also been the Vice President, Marketing at DLT Solutions, and the Public Sector Marketing Director at Red Hat. She has also served in several positions such as Director, North America Commercial Field Marketing, and Product Manager at Red Hat. She started her career as a Customer Service/Technical Support/R&D Software Tester with Micros Systems, comprising of different positions, and eventually as a Product Manager, RES at Micros Systems.
