I like to believe that I was able to help do a very small part of setting UT's marketing team down specific paths, some of which may have materialized, and others that did not.  I loved the sales team here and worked very closely with reps and execs. I launched the marketing revenue engine and quickly launched highly successful, creative demand gen and account-based marketing (ABM) programs that easily surpassed KPIs and revenue targets.  But I also worked too much, and learned a ton.

Some things worked: Alumni program with 25x ROI, trigger-based intent joint orchestration, conversational AI, unique high-value offers & digital gifts, highly targeted digital air-cover that engaged key stakeholders at ideal accounts, various sales appt. setting strategies.

Conversational AI programs unlocked the existing database by converting 10%+ into meetings, with a high percentage converting to meetings (and sometimes pipeline), and without a doubt, resulted in millions of closed won business, directly attributable to Marketing.

ABM programs were developed for global, enterprise, and mid-market segments. 1:1, 1:Few, and 1:Many program types executed against strategic account selections at scale. Created dozens of sales enablement tools with my team's help and worked with Brendan Dell to create some great messaging and campaigns that others helped get off the ground.

Built high-value content using market research, customer stories, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensured UT provided value to key personas while also generating demand for the platform. Mike Mace and Janelle Estes are really smart people. So many smart, talented people at UT. Thank you.

Helped overall processes, data, and systems to try to set in motion the building of a foundation of what I thought at the time was a high-level revenue marketing engine.

My time here was short and the company went on to be great.  Much respect to my peoples I met at UT.

And plenty of mistakes, at a place where if you were always learning, that was a good thing. I was heads-down killing myself for 3 years, and learning as much as I could, at an agency full of experts.

Troy O'Bryan had a vision and great patience that allowed people to learn whatever they wanted and be whatever they wanted to become. He led by example, would read anything, was always been working on himself, would test any new idea or trend, and was always accountable. Really cut my teeth on targeting, data analysis, ABM, etc. and set me on a demand gen and data driven marketing path that involved how to measure everything and always understand an impact, even though it doesn't always go as well as you would hope. Have worked for a few agencies, this has a special place in my heart.
