Phil Graves is an accomplished business leader and sustainability advocate, with a background in finance and a passion for the environment. After graduating magna cum laude with a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University, Graves spent several years in financial advisory services at high-profile firms such as Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He later moved to the outdoor industry, where he held executive positions at Patagonia and Bass Pro Shops and served on the boards of several innovative startups focused on sustainable materials and practices. These experiences gave him a unique perspective on the intersection of business and sustainability, which he now uses to help companies drive positive impact and profit.

As Chief Sustainability Officer at Bass Pro Shops, Graves led the development and execution of the company's sustainability strategy, which encompassed everything from supply chain management to energy efficiency to community outreach. He also served as president of the Johnny Morris Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting wildlife and habitats. Prior to that, Graves was Vice President of Corporate Development and Managing Partner of Tin Shed Ventures at Patagonia, where he oversaw investments in mission-driven startups and helped grow the brand's reputation as a leader in sustainability. He has also served on the board of directors for Mango Materials and Bureo, two innovative companies working to create sustainable materials from waste.
