Fatima Blanco Jara is a pharmaceutical professional with an extensive background in pharmacovigilance, drug research, and innovation. She holds a Master's degree in Research Development and Innovation of new drugs from the University of Navarra, an MSc. in Pharmacy from the Complutense University of Madrid, and has studied Pharmacy at the Università degli Studi di Genova. With experience in quality management, control, and safety technologies/technicians, Fatima has honed her skills in ensuring safe and effective medicines.

She began her career as a RESIDENCY at HOSPITAL UNIVERSITARIO DE GETAFE before interning at Sandoz's Pharmacovigilance Department. From here, she began working at Eli Lilly and Company, first as a Pharmacovigilance Associate before becoming a Pharmacovigilance Case Manager at Eli Lilly UK. Currently, Fatima is a Senior Pharmacovigilance Officer at Sanofi, where she leverages her experience in ensuring pharmacovigilance compliance and product quality.
