Célia Kano is a brilliant engineer turned social impact strategist and entrepreneur. She has ten years of experience in strategy, management, and new business development. She is a graduate of Escola Politécnica da USP with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Master's degree. Her areas of interest include entrepreneurship, income generation, social innovation and management, social business models, philanthropy, and social investment, corporate social responsibility, and education. Celia is Co-CEO of RME - Rede Mulher Empreendedora, which she co-founded to create an accelerator program for women-led businesses. Her work with women and young professionals in engineering and technology has made her a role model for many. She is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Production Engineering at Escola Politécnica da USP, focusing on social business models that have an impact.
