With a Master of Business Administration from Duke University and extensive experience in multiple geographies, Rik is known for his entrepreneurial spirit, transformative leadership, and integrative decision-making abilities. He has worked for Shell, where he held prominent roles such as Program Director Sectoral Decarbonization, Vice President & Country Chair Bolivia & Paraguay, General Manager Ventures, and Transition Leader BG Bolivia. Rik is also the founder of TOPAZ Transformations, an organization that aims to promote sustainable energy. With a focus on making the private sector a force for good in the transition towards a sustainable energy future, Rik seeks out challenges that require new directions and has a passion for delivering value to communities and countries.
