That expertise is now on tap for merchants who sign up for Yahoo’s newly launched Merchant Solutions Enterprise service.My role is to contact merchants, consult with them about where they're presently at in the life cycle of their business and see if our consultative service is the next step for them to take. I review their store and demonstrate ways we identify opportunities for growth. I then connect them to a Success Manager who demonstrates how they can help them. Then I negotiate a suitable price point and help them sign up when interested.After they sign up, I also operate as an account executive to ensure regular contact with their Success Manager and check in to see if their expectations are being met.

Enterprise Sales Consultant

Consulted with online merchants about best practices in matters of SEO, online marketing, conversion optimization, and integrating third party services to manage shipping, inventory, catalog and order processing. Acted as a trusted advisor to help merchants increase traffic and sales as well as better manage day-to-day processes for their store.Also worked with clients who were considering transferring their store to another host to keep them satisfied.  Managed a book of business ranging from 150 to 285 clients during this time.

I provided technical and billing support for Yahoo! Small Business clients regarding domains, business mail, webhosting and ecommerce.During my tenure in this role I excelled in customer satisfaction, customer retention and learning all aspects of our product line. I was most successful at cross-selling and upselling services to existing customers using a consultative approach. I was a consistently a department leader in this category and recognized by management for setting the bar for what could be accomplished.

Product Support Specialist

Sold individual and group health Insurance as well as life and supplemental insurance.Received Internet leads and contacted them via phone and email while competing with up to 15 other agencies for the same lead. Represented multiple products from multiple carriers in 42 different states. This was before the Affordable Care Act so coverage was not guaranteed and was based on a person's health. Since different states had different underwriting laws for pre-existing health conditions, insurance carriers' products varied from state to state. I excelled and learning the differences and became a resource to other agents in the office when they needed help with product knowledge.I held one of the highest retention rates in the office with my clients.This was a 1099 commission only sales position.

I worked in 2 different capacities at Sitel. Customer Relationship ManagerI fielded complaints from customers of an auto manufacturer. They were mostly about vehicle repairs but sometimes about dealership sales experiences. The repair complaints were either about vehicles in warranty where the customer had lost confidence in the vehicle being reliable once it got out of warranty, or they were about vehicles that were out of warranty but the customer felt the manufacturer should have some responsibility for a repair.I was consistently recognized for high customer satisfaction scores and finding creative solutions to make the customer happy when policy required declining their primary request. I also regularly received thank you letters from customers who had hand-written them and mailed them in. One customer tried to send me a $20 check as a measure of appreciation for helping him out; I had to decline it due to policy, and he was dejected.I was invited to interview for the premium team which can only be applied for by invitation.Dealer Business Center SupportI helped dealer sales departments verify compatibility of different incentives to determine whether a sale qualified for the incentive(s) or not.I also provided technical support the systems dealers used internally to communicate with the manufacturer when it came to sales and service systems.
