She has also made significant contributions in various roles, including being a former board member at The Linux Foundation, Node.Js Foundation, and head of Open Source Strategy for GCP at Google. She held positions such as Program Manager of Kubernetes Community, Head of Developer Relations at Nginx, Inc., Chief Information Officer at Meteor Entertainment, Senior Solutions Architect at Chef Software, and many more.
Sarah's diverse experience highlights her involvement in tech communities, evident from roles like Co-Host at Oursql The Mysql Community Podcast, Founding Chairperson at Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG), and Program Chair for Oscon at O'Reilly Media. She has also ventured into investment and board memberships, notably with Roq La Rue, alongside holding technical positions such as Unix Systems Administrator, CS Representative, CS Tools Developer at Amazon, and Senior Systems Engineer & Database Engineer at Ads.Com.
