Hosam Nagar is an experienced executive with multicultural and multidisciplinary expertise in both the commercial and nonprofit sectors. With a deep sense of empathy and mindfulness, his work is focused on improving people's lives through technology, systems, and service products. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Cass Business School, and his extensive education includes Masters degrees from the University of Westminster and Middlebury College.

Hosam has a notable tenure with the Thomson Foundation, where he currently serves as the Director of Innovation and Learning. He has been instrumental in strengthening the relationship with consultants and key clients, resulting in increased work volume and wider services. Hosam is a Design Thinking expert who led the development of Thomson Foundation's pioneering digital strategy and its practical implementation. This approach, which leverages online learning and blended training, has measurably increased the impact of the Foundation's work. Hosam's efforts have also led to the creation of a cutting-edge online platform, which directly serves thousands of journalists worldwide, as well as partners that share Thomson Foundation's mission.

Prior to his work with the Foundation, Hosam Nagar was engaged with the Associated Press (AP) as the Editorial and Assignments Manager, responsible for key client and vendor relationships in the Middle East, production processes, and teams. Hosam successfully delivered live and recorded coverage of major news stories from remote locations, working efficiently under tight deadlines and with star talent. He also served in other AP roles, such as Client Planning Manager, Client Affairs Manager for Middle East Services, Production Manager for Middle East Custom Coverage, and Production Coordinator.
