Vice President, Consumer Market Manager

Served in a dual role as the Regional Manager overseeing the branches in the Southern Region including the Marin County, Napa, Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Petaluma, and San Francisco Areas. Directly managed 10, and led a team of 85 FTE. Responsible for operations, driving sales, service and managing risk; employee development and satisfaction. Provide leadership, strategic planning and direction as well as short and long term goals and objectives for the branch network. Assisted with merger /acquisition of CSCCU, which included integration of employees, systems, and branch locations, and project planning for new branch locations and openings. Member of Technology Committee and ecommerce strategic team which included research and launch of new ATM fleet and overall ecommerce strategic initiatives (Mobile Banking, Knowledge Database System, and Website redesign). Dual role also included managing the Business Development Function and Division for all RCU territories (entire company). Led the Business Development team (BDM/BDO's) to increase sales results, community development and brand awareness. Responsible for driving successful Market Expansion and Business Development performance for entire branch network, with large impacts on growth markets. Led successful internal and agency-partnered marketing campaigns and strategies to increase acquisition, PR, awareness, in-branch traffic and conversions. Managed the company-wide business development budget including creation, approval, allocation, and reconciliation

Regional Manager & Asst. Vice President, Business Development/Market Expansion

Managed the execution of credit card sales strategies for the West Coast (CA, AZ, NV) for North American Card Services Inward Sales Distribution Channel. Developed & managed ongoing relationships with Customer Service Call Centers- senior leadership, sales team, technology teams and business partners. Worked with internal Franchise Sales team to ensure optimal credit strategy, pricing, as well as processing and product strategy. Identified & implemented initiatives that expanded card acquisition in the call centers and improved processes. Coordinated with Strategy Execution team to monitor sales trends/performance & to review new acct. performance. Partnered with Platform/Analytics team to ensure system stability, execute new enhancements & monitor day-to-day call/offer/sales performance. Responsible for creation and implementation of nationwide sales campaigns.

- Boosted West Coast Call Centers card sales NCR (Net Conversion Rate) from 8% to 10% and presentation rate from 55% to 70%.
- Identified an opportunity and created a business plan (including analysis and launch) of highly profitable specific card products for nationwide active application card sales which increased sales enterprise wide 27% with a forecasted NIBT impact of $6.6m over 5 yrs.
- Worked on Green Belt Six Sigma Pilot for non-producers to boost outlying sales performers throughout the Call Centers enterprise wide.
- Created automated marketing budget process to successfully track $3m marketing budget outflows and % to plan to end 2008 on- target, below budget forecast.

Vice President, Inward Consumer Sales Channel

Managed $170m portfolio in the Global Wealth and Investments Division. Highly successful sales performance- was in top 5% of nationwide ranking. Successfully increased Region’s credit numbers to #3 in the division from last place. Created national training program and collateral for mortgage LOB. Conducted division-wide Diversity Training sessions for Bank of America across multiple business units. Held Mentor role for new employees. Held the Credit Champion Role which supported the region for all credit related communications and training.

Vice President, Premier/GWIM

Managed Flagship Branch for Tamalpais Bank (which was acquired by Union Bank after my departure), plus the banks floating employees and telephone customer service representatives. Extensive experience in preparation of marketing plans and initiatives; developed sales campaigns and training collateral. Managed the branch balance sheet, performed HR functions (hiring, performance management, scheduling). Extensive outbound sales to increase branch growth including cold calls and community networking. Performed in-house underwriting of business and consumer loans. Worked closely with the CEO and other bank executives on the Quality Council to improve retention, image, productivity, and profitability of the bank. Nominated and attended the Marin County Leadership Institute by the C.E.O.
