Jim Doyle

Jim Doyle is the president of Business Forward Foundation, an independent research and education organization focused on policy issues affecting America's economic competitiveness.

Through various channels including white papers, issue briefs, and events, Jim and his team at Business Forward Foundation inform policymakers and the public about critical topics like climate change, healthcare, immigration, infrastructure, and the future of work.

Jim Doyle also leads Business Forward, Inc. (BFI), a trade group working to garner business support for public policies enhancing America's economic competitiveness and has collaborated with over 60 prominent companies to engage over 100,000 local business leaders nationwide.

Aside from his roles at Business Forward, Jim serves as the president of Portico Policy Advisors, a firm specializing in policy research covering areas such as clean energy, trade practices, technology in education, college affordability, children's nutrition, and online privacy.

With a background in building and selling businesses, advising senior government officials, and contributing to political campaigns, Jim Doyle brings a wealth of experience to his current roles. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School.
