Carlos Aranha is a seasoned professional in the tech industry with a passion for urbanism and city planning. He has a Bachelor's degree in Communications - Journalism from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, an MBA in Marketing & Comms Management from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, and a specialization in Social Psychology from FESPSP - Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Politica de São Paulo. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, where he aims to hone his skills in public relations and advocacy, creating sustainable, democratic and inclusive cities for all.

Carlos has held several key positions at Google, including Head of Web and Developer Products Partnerships, Latin America, Strategic Partnerships Development Manager and Account Executive in Advertising Sales for various industries, such as finance, travel, and retail. During his time at Google, he mentored and aided developers in Latin America in building better web products through collaboration and partnership agreements. He has extensively traveled the world, and has lived and worked in countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan, and Singapore.

Throughout his professional life, Carlos has displayed his passion for urbanism and sustainable cities, a field he believes will benefit from his public policy education. He sees himself as an engaged citizen committed to public relations and advocacy, with a drive to create a better future for everyone.
