Elliot Menschik may have started his career as a physician, scientist and engineer, but he is now making waves as a repeat founder, CxO and startup investor. As the Chief Digital Officer at Resilience, Menschik is responsible for all things digital including infrastructure, applications, data science, software development and security. Prior to Resilience, Menschik was at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he started and led the company's work supporting startups, scaleups, and investors in highly-specialized industries such as biotech, healthtech, medtech, fintech, gametech, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Before his time at AWS, he was a seed-stage investor founding and leading the healthcare practice of Dreamit Ventures. Menschik sourced and led investments in 40+ startups with a focus on health IT, diagnostics, and devices. He has also served as founder and CEO of HxTechnologies, an early player in health information exchange, which was sold in 2009 to the largest payer, Health Care Service Corporation. Post-acquisition, he served as general manager at their health IT subsidiary, MEDecision, with responsibility for launching and running its provider-facing business.

Menschik has an impressive educational background. He earned both his MD and PhD degrees at the University of Pennsylvania, where he did computational research on Alzheimer's disease and memory function, specializing in massively parallel simulations of large networks of biophysically-realistic neurons. Earlier, he attended the Johns Hopkins University and earned a couple of degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Menschik is also a former adjunct associate professor, engineering entrepreneurship at the University of Pennsylvania, a co-founder and CEO of Venturef0rth, one of the first coworking spaces in Philadelphia, and a lecturer at the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also served on the board of directors at the Pennsylvania e-Health Initiative, and as an adjunct assistant professor at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
