Achievements as an Executive Team:
•	A successful transformation of a “troubled real estate bank” into a “business bank” that was a successfully pursued acquisition target (announced acquisition by Banc of California March ‘21)

•	Created Horizon Analytics® the bank’s proprietary marketing differentiator to attract and maintain business targeted at corporate banking relationships
•	Organically increased C&I Loan portfolio from $226 million (29% of totals loans at YE 2013) to $602 million (48% of total loans at Q1’21)
•	Progressively increased Non-Interest Bearing deposits from $189 million (26% of totals deposits at YE 2013) to $650 million (47% of total deposits at Q1’21)

Successes as the Chief Credit Officer:
o	Revamped Credit Administration, changed staffing, and clarified Credit Policy 
o	Redefined the Loan Risk Ratings into a set of matrices for a more granular view of loan attributes, culminating in no risk rating changes in the last regulatory exam
o	Reduced Classified and Non-Accrual Loans, leading to excess loan loss reserves
o	Streamlined approval, documentation, and funding process for the Paycheck Protection Program, funding nearly 700 loans for $300 million over an eight-week period
o	Created a quarterly “wellness check-in” program to determine portfolio health during COVID-19 shut down.  Used the findings in our qualitative reserve analysis for ALLL as well as a communication channel for our clients to triage needs

Led Silicon Valley Bank’s Orange County office and was responsible for leading its technology and life science banking team.  Extensive experience structuring unique debt facilities and advising clients on borrowing strategies, investments, and treasury management.

o	The loan portfolio increased from $74 million in loans to over $130 million with revenue increasing 100%.  
o	Increased the portfolio of borrowing clients from 70 to over 130.  
o	Recipient of SVB’s President’s Club award, recognizing the bank’s top sales professionals for 2007, 2008, and 2009.
