Marcos Alonso is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in various creative environments, including business development, client solutions, digital marketing, and strategic planning for the music business, art centers & museums, marketing agencies, festivals & events. Marcos has an impressive portfolio, having worked with companies such as Visa, Google, SWISS, Total, Western Union, The Economist, FIB Benicàssim, Royal Enfield, Baxter, and Ogury. He spent four years in the US as a Creative Industries International Advisor and Digital Marketing & Comms Director. During this period, he provided strategic and operational guidance to companies such as Universal Music Group, Latin Grammy Foundation, Art Basel, SoL®_Network, SXSW, ICEX, AECID, EGEDA, FAPAE, and ASTUREX. Marcos has also been an entrepreneur, having started his own companies in 2010 and 2012, specializing in music and creative projects.
Marcos has a background in law and holds a degree from the University of Oviedo. He also holds a Master's Degree in Cultural and Business Management from the University of Barcelona and a Programa de Desarrollo Directivo from CEU IAM Business School. In addition, he holds an Executive MBA from DIE European Programme. Currently, he is the Senior New Business Development Manager at Divimove Spain (RTL Group).
