Jennifer Hasegawa is a seasoned technical writer, information architect, and UX writer with over two decades of experience in documentation and UX lifecycles. Having studied English, journalism, and fine arts at the University of Southern California and earning an MA in English from San Francisco State University, Jennifer has also completed coursework in technical communications and Dreamweaver at UC Berkeley Extension and San Francisco State University Extension respectively.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has held several positions in top tech companies such as Facebook, Ripple, Electronic Arts (EA), Oracle, and OneLogin, where she has honed her skills in writing API, admin, and end-user documentation, as well as defining the UX of documentation sites, building documentation taxonomies, and collecting and analyzing usability data.

Currently, Jennifer serves as a senior staff technical writer for observability at Splunk, where she collaborates with cross-functional teams to create clear and concise UI text for Splunk's observability products. In her role, she also implements content strategies and leads the development of documentation solutions to ensure that Splunk's customers can effectively use their products.
