Mark Thompson is a seasoned senior leader in the sports and entertainment industry, having worked in various roles on both the rights-holder and agency side. He currently serves as the Co-Chief Operating Officer at Burnley Football Club, where he oversees large P&Ls and teams. Prior to his current role, Mark held senior commercial positions at City Football Group and served as the North America Lead for Two Circles, a data-driven sports marketing agency. He also worked as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman and has lived and worked on multiple continents, including Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and Australasia. Mark holds a BSc in International Management from the University of Manchester and completed an HBA in Business Management at the University of Western Ontario. He is a former Sports Sabbatical Officer at the University of Manchester and has also held internships with L'Oréal SA and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
