Michelle Joyce Lee is a certified public accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in fund accounting, tax preparation, and corporate finance. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting. She also studied Food Service Management at Cornell University.

Before joining CircleUp as a Senior Fund Accountant, Michelle worked as a Senior Fund Accountant at Founders Circle Capital. She has also held various positions, including Assistant Manager at Jing-Zhan Boutique Hotel and Senior Tax Associate at PwC. Michelle's skills in corporate tax accounting were honed during her Global Corporate Tax Internship at Bio-Rad Laboratories.

Michelle is a dedicated professional, and her commitment to serving her community is reflected in her volunteer work as a tax preparer with Tax-Aid and the Internal Revenue Service. She was also a Taiwanese Decal Language Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, and has worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Tonnie Cosmetics Co., Ltd.
