Monique J. Simms is a seasoned strategic communications and public relations professional with over 15 years of experience in fostering outreach and engagement opportunities for both community-based and corporate organizations.

With a keen eye for detail, Monique excels as an event manager and program planner, adept at coordinating partnerships and volunteers to drive student success and enhance school performance.

Her expertise lies in relationship management, partner and donor cultivation, event and volunteer management, project management, and strategic planning.

Monique holds a Master of Arts in Journalism and Communications from The Ohio State University, a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Communications from Morgan State University, and also studied at Baltimore City College.

Currently, she serves as the Manager of Partnerships and Volunteers at Baltimore City Public Schools, where she brings her wealth of experience to support the school community.
