Kiran Salman is a public health professional with extensive experience working with academic research institutions, healthcare centers, and government agencies in a variety of settings. Currently, as the Project Manager at NYU Langone, she strives to make a difference in the lives of others by leading teams to make informed strategic decisions and create patient-centered solutions. Kiran is a recent graduate from the MPH Accelerated Program at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with a strong focus in healthcare administration, data analytics, and global health. She is passionate about driving healthcare research, products, and services that help people achieve better lives.
Throughout her career, Kiran has gained experience as a COVID-19 Contact Tracing Supervisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Internal Medicine and Surgery at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Additionally, she has also worked as a Health and Wellness Coach in Geriatrics at the Alameda Health System, an Outreach Intern in Thalassemia at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, and as an Advising Assistant and Computer Administrator at UC Berkeley. Kiran's diverse experiences and skills allow her to work effectively across multi-stakeholder environments, building strong relationships with teams involved in complex projects.
