Scott Maynard is an experienced professional with thirty-three years of expertise in Career Services, Experiential Education, and Workforce Development.

He has held Director level roles, overseeing strategic planning, assessment, and supervision for multiple offices in a centralized career center.

Scott is known for building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, alumni, government officials, and other key stakeholders.

His background includes public service and policy development, as well as a focus on innovative program development and outcome-based assessment.

He has actively contributed to local, regional, and national associations, demonstrating leadership and volunteer service.

With a solid educational foundation, Scott pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Mississippi State University.

Having served in various capacities at Mississippi State University, Scott has a rich organizational history that includes roles such as Program Director for Employer Relations and Director Emeritus at the Career Center.

Scott has also contributed to the community as President & CEO of the Greater Starkville Development Partnership and as an Alderman in the City of Starkville, MS.
