Holly Love is a seasoned communications and engagement professional with more than 12 years of experience in the government and not-for-profit sectors. Love has a passion for transforming complex issues into simple terms and putting the audience at the forefront of her communication strategies. In her early years, she specialized in media and issues management, which allowed her to provide thoughtful and strategic advice to government agencies and ministers. Love established the Stakeholder Engagement team for the NSW Environment Protection Authority, making sure community concerns were a priority and acknowledged with care and compassion during environmental challenges. She was awarded the 2018 NSW Government Spokeswomen Young Woman of the Year Award for her work. Love has excellent facilitation skills and excels at bringing individuals together to solve problems or create a vision. She approaches facilitation in reference groups, workshops, or meetings with warmth, inclusivity, and a drive to produce positive results. Additionally, Love currently holds the position of Joint Chair for the Environment and Sustainability Community of Practice for the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2). Love holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University, a Certificate in Engagement from IAP2, and a Certificate IV in Graphic Design that enables her to transform written information into visual devices such as infographics. Love's areas of expertise include community and stakeholder engagement, consultation and management, engagement on large-scale environmental issues, facilitation, strategic communications, media and issues management, strategic advice and program design, and behaviour change campaigns.
